(Code No: ASB03) $750.00 ORDER Blade:  Double-edged, hand-forged       Materials:  316 Stainless Steel       Length:  200mm Total Length:  340mm Box:  365mm long x 95mm wide x 60mm deep Quillions:  Brass crescent moon shape Grip:  Hand carved Australian Black Bean wood Pommel:  Copper with Black Onyx inlay mounted in sterling silver Fittings: Copper, brass, and sterling silver Hand crafted in Australian black bean wood, this beautiful box was 'made' for the Athame inside.  The box has a protective slot for the tip of the blade, rich black velvet lining and is custom moulded to cradle the Athame's unique shape. The sturdy lid features embedded designs handcrafted in Black bean wood and twisted copper.  A carved ankh and two raised pentagram symbols are surrounded with a decorative twisted copper border. Matching Ankh Athame Features a doubled-edged 316 stainless steel blade, approx 20cm long. A copper proof plug, on the blade immediately adjacent to the copper and sterling silver brass quillions, is stamped with the makers mark. An oval copper cartouche is inset within the brass crescent moon quillions.  On one side, this cartouche bears the maker's mark, a silver lightening bolt (for will), on the other side a silver sun symbol (as the giver of life). Shaped copper and brass handle fittings hold the hand carved black bean wooden handle. The front face of the handle is shaped. The front face of the pommel bears a small black onyx surrounded with a sterling silver twisted border.  Underneath is a shiny brass and copper fitting. The top cap of the pommel features a large black onyx cabachon cut stone set in a sterling silver bezel.
