Running time approx. 87 minutes In a 5,000-year-old stone circle, the initiate meditates upon the Element of Earth. The film depicts an entire sequence of training meditations, covering Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
Throughout Ireland, certain trees are regarded as sacred, and special. Local people place offerings upon them, to obtain favors from the Virgin Mary or, sometimes, from the Fairies! Although now firmly entrenched as a Catholic practice, this tradition is in fact far older, dating back to pre-Christian times.
As part of the initiation cycle, a series of meditations upon each of the Elements is ordained. This is part of the meditation upon fire.
