The Art of Burning Granular Incense

1) Place your incense burner on a heat proof surface.
2) Put a small amount of sand in the burner. Lay a fresh piece of foil on top of the sand, on which your charcoal disk will be placed, once it is lit. This will insulate and protect your incense burner from any residues.

3) CAUTION: Handle the charcoal with a pair of tongs as you light it and allow the row of sparks to work its way over the disk. Then place it on top of the foil in your burner.
DO NOT touch the HOT charcoal with your bare hands.

4) Now, sprinkle a small amount of Granular Incense on top of the charcoal and allow the aromatic scent to pervade the room. Sprinkle more incense as required according to personal preference.

NOTE:
Line your burner with a fresh piece of foil each time you use it.
Never put a lid on the incense burner, while charcoal is burning, unless you want to smother it out.
NEVER leave incense charcoal burning unattended.
